SK3PTA

Born Joseph Junior Adenuga, Skepta is a British rapper, producer and DJ commonly associated with the North London grime scene. Has proved himself to be one of the smarter and more diligent entrepreneurs in the UK Music industry. He began his career as DJ Off key although he soon took his hand to the production side of music where he received much attention for 'DTI'. That wasn't enough for Skepta as he soon jumped on the microphone along with his brother JME (Jamie Adenuga) and became renowned throughout Greater London for his hit single (he also produced), "Private Caller" which featured many of his Meridian crew from Meridian Walk in Tottenham.

Skepta as a rapper/mc has performed all over the world: New York, Italy, Russia, Israel, Czech Rep, Sweden, Germany, Cyprus, Switzerland, Belgium, France and Amsterdam along with many other countries whilst also making the bill of UK festivals Glastonbury and V. Skepta has achieved all of this without even having an album in the shops. Having already featured on MTV BaseAbout to Blow’, graced the pages of magazines from i-D, One Week to Live to Dummy to RWD to Blues & Soul.

His main target is to make grime music 'mainstream' in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. So far, alongside accomplices like Wiley, Roll Deep, JME, President T, Trim, Frisco, Bossman and Big H, he has helped to increase the levels of 'spitting', and has produced and created grime hits such as “Duppy”, “Stupid”, “R U Dumb”, “Fuckin' Widda Team” and “The Large Way”.

BIG UP

the grime scene, over the past few years I have increasingly opened up my mind to new music genres.
getting into alot of new things, one of the biggest I got into was when I was 16/17 was grime, also some others like drumnbass, dub, breakbeat, bassline and many more but this one is currently high on the shelf with hiphop and the old tech death.
there are many reasons why I like grime this is just one of them:

Check your own boat if you wanna talk about acne.
If I've got beef, Chronik's gonna back me.
You can bring the whole of RWD but you still can't smack me.
You're straight outta Hampshire, I'm straight outta Hackney.

When you see her on road, slap that batty.
If she tries to get rude, slap that Hattie.
Her and Chan best mates like Cap and Ratty.
You need to sort yourself out, love, you're looking a bit tatty.

You eat man meat, I only eat Quorn.
I've been into grime since before Dizzee was born.
You stay up all night writing swag bars 'til dawn.
When I dead you, only wastemen will mourn.

I'm Skepta, you're S club's Bradley.
Any man with a pulse, you'll press him gladly.
You thought you could merk me, but it's all gone badly.
Were your waste bars written by Tony Hadley?

My bars are big like the Eiffel Tower.
Every night Chantelle gives you a golden shower.
I've taken your pride like I took your Mum's flower.
Stop writing bars and go shave your chihuahua.

SHH HUT YUH MUH.

ZERO1

yes man, currently just got this shit up, took me time to set up a new blog as before I couldnt be bothered with my last one. I wasnt really into it. I guess things have changed, I see this as a way to explain things that I love and some of the shit I go through, most of all tho needless to say this will be about most things that inspire me.
Now to explain myself in more detail, Im a graphic designer, rookie graffiti artist , wannabe dj and poet for the bars.
I go by the name of ZERO1 thats for everything, all of those things that I just listed I go by that name.
This names got alot of meaning to me, I guess first of all it suggests who I am, I see life in a philosphical way and also in a scientific way I guess, this is were ZERO1 comes in, binary coding. The numbers are made up of 0's and 1's. Most of our lives these days runs around technology and binary is a big part of how it works, this is one of the main reasons I got this name. I will go onto explain it more later on.
